Individual support and small group teaching
At SVIS, all classes are taught in both English and French within small groups of no more than 20 students. We have ability-based groups that allow each student to progress at their own pace. Our leadership team and international teaching staff provide daily attention to student wellbeing and individualized academic support.
The school’s classrooms are bright, modern and well equipped. Each week, students take part in lectures in our on-campus amphitheatre or enjoy independent study sessions in the library, two beautiful spaces with panoramic views over the lake and surrounding landscape.

Bilingual education and global awareness
From international primary through international secondary school, education at SVIS is fully bilingual. Students are placed in language groups according to their proficiency level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) enabling them to achieve fluency in both English and French while progressing at their own pace. Additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, and German are offered as electives throughout their academic journey.

This bilingual approach provides excellent preparation for IGCSE and IB (International Baccalaureate) examinations, which are highly valued by leading universities in France and around the World.

Education at Sainte Victoire International School is fully bilingual in French and English from primary through secondary levels. International Primary School
At Sainte Victoire International School, our Primary School offers a structured, caring, and stimulating environment where every child can learn with confidence and truly thrive every single day.
The curriculum combines the best of the National Curriculum for England (NCfE), the French national programme, and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
This unique blend ensures a high-quality academic foundation and a wide range of engaging learning experiences. Middle School and IGCSE
The SVIS Middle School spans three years, providing a smooth transition from primary education to early adolescence. During this stage, students develop key academic and personal skills that prepare them for the next level of study.
By the time they complete Middle School, students are fully equipped to succeed in the IGCSE exams.The Cambridge IGCSE, established over 25 years ago, is the world’s most recognised qualification for students aged 14 to 16.
Known for its academic rigour, it provides access to top international high school programmes and lays a strong foundation for the final years of secondary school and a clear pathway into the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

High School and IBDP
At SVIS, the high school programme welcomes students aged 16 to 19. It prepares learners for higher education through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), a challenging and internationally recognised curriculum.
Throughout the programme, students strengthen essential skills such as critical thinking, academic writing, and public speaking, while deepening their knowledge across multiple subjects.
This preparation leads to the IB Diploma, a qualification respected by top universities in France and worldwide. SVIS is proud to have seen several graduates study at prestigious institutions including Imperial College London, the University of Pennsylvania and McGill University.
